The Miseducation of Cameron Post is set in 1993, but sadly conversion therapy is still prevalent today. In fact, nearly 700,000 adults in the U.S. have undergone conversion therapy, and an additional 57,000 LGBTQ teens will go through this dangerous practice in the next five years unless additional protections are passed.

The Cameron Post team has been proud to work with Mathew Shurka and the Born Perfect campaign in their fight to end conversion therapy in all 50 states. This year alone, four states have passed

protections—bringing the total number to 14.
